Monday, 25.10. (Hamburg Night) The duo from our adored Hamburg house-label Dial takes control on the opening night of "rheinschau." Peter Kersten aka Lawrence introduces his brand new album as Sten with a live set - accompanied by Turner on the turntables - and the third Dial dude, David Lieske aka Carsten Jost, transforms a project room on the first floor with his photos and sculptures. Peter Kersten aka Lawrence aka Sten is the guarantee for a silky smooth tech-house sound that lures

listeners and dancers alike. While Lawrence creates a creamy soft mood with his melancholic house-pearls (see his last album "The Absence Of Blight"), Kersten - under his second alias Sten - dares to take to the dance floor a bit more. Here, too, he sticks to the beauty of simple and mellow harmonies. Sten's first album is also now out on Dial: "Leaving The Frantic." Sten's fans will have a good idea what to expect, and indeed every track is one of those

extraordinarily seductive tunes that you can't get out of your head after hearing just once, but that never becomes boring. His label buddy Turner needs little introduction. Since his last album "A Pack of Lies" at the latest, he's shown how to conjure up great pop music from the spirit of club culture. He's also on the road a lot as a DJ and is giving his label pals a helping hand on the turntables on the opening night of "rheinschau." Further info at: www.dial-rec.de.
