ART COLOGNE 2004 was
supported by the new
contemporary art event
„rheinschau. art cologne projects“.
40 young and international
contemporary art galleries, that
have been selected by a top-class
selection committee, have been
invited to apply for exhibition
space. The concept planned that each participating gallery commissioned one or more artists to arrange a project in one of the

rooms of the former administration
building of the Königliche
Eisenbahndirektion (Royal Railway
Directorate). The venue is located
in the city centre of Cologne directly
opposite the ART COLOGNE fair
grounds. The event was realized in
close cooperation with the ART
COLOGNE. – „rheinschau. art
cologne projects“ was planned and
organized by Neumann+Luz
Projects GmbH. The selection
committee consists of art dealers
